In collaboration with the University of the West of England and the BBC Natural History Unit, wildlife filmmaking master’s student Anna Danielle Moore developed a short film exploring the Green and Golden Bell Frog’s survival against the deadly chytrid fungus.

Anna and I co-wrote the script, and I had the incredible opportunity to shape the narrative into a professional screenplay while collaborating with a passionate filmmaker. Through tight deadlines, multiple drafts, and countless brainstorming sessions, Escape came to life. We hope you enjoy!

In the hustle and bustle of a grocery store, Oliver, a young gay cashier, finds himself embroiled in a whirlwind of emotions as last night’s unexpected hook-up appears in his line as a customer.

As he nervously monologues with himself, trying to navigate the situation, things take an unexpected turn when the hook-up's wife unexpectedly joins the scene. Suddenly, Oliver's anxiety-driven internal dialogue becomes even more intense as he desperately tries to avoid getting caught while also grappling with the repercussions of his choices.

The goal is clear: evade detection and perhaps reconsider his choices in partners.

In my debut full-length play, tension reaches a crescendo as a young woman arrives unannounced at a family's home during their daughter's wake.

As the mystery surrounding her identity deepens, the atmosphere becomes increasingly charged with uncertainty and unease. Through this narrative, I aimed to capture the essence of awkwardness compellingly and engagingly, weaving together themes of mystery, family dynamics, and the complexities of human relationships.
